Canadian Tourist Steals Flamingo from Las Vegas Hotel
In a bizarre incident, a Canadian tourist stole a live flamingo from the Flamingo hotel in Las Vegas. The tourist, who was reportedly intoxicated, entered the bird enclosure around 5 AM and took the flamingo named Pichi to his hotel room.
The tourist was released on bail of $12,000, had his passport confiscated, and was ordered to stay in Las Vegas but not approach the Strip or animals. The flamingo, Pichi, was under veterinary care for a few days due to a wing injury but is now safe.
Representatives from Caesars Entertainment, which owns the Flamingo hotel, stated that they will seek the maximum penalty for the tourist. The case is ongoing, with further hearings scheduled for this week.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
