A woman from Caboolture, Queensland, won AU$150,000 from a Crosswords Connect scratch-off ticket. The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 1,251,000.
The woman purchased her winning ticket from Nextra Morayfield Village News, Shop 5, Morayfield Shopping Center at 171 Morayfield Road in Morayfield. The woman admitted that she usually buys Crosswords games and that scratching off tickets has become a little ritual for her.
The woman said she is considering purchasing land and splurging on her upcoming holiday with her winnings.
