Bryn Kenney Declines Doug Polk’s $1 Million Heads-Up Challenge
Professional poker players Bryn Kenney and Doug Polk have been engaged in a public feud on Twitter. The latest development in their ongoing exchange is Kenney's offer to back someone for up to $5 million for a NL heads-up match. However, Kenney declined Doug Polk’s challenge for a $500/$1000 stakes, 2 tables, 100 bb, $1m each heads-up match, stating he wouldn't play a game Polk has been studying for months.
This isn't the first time Kenney has turned down a challenge. A few months ago, he told Phil Galfond that his $200/$400 challenge offer was too small and not worth his time, suggesting that $2,000/$4,000 was more like it. Kenney also accused Galfond of chickening out against Luke Schwartz.
Despite the heated exchange, fans are eager to see a match between the two players. Kenney is known for having the highest confirmed total winnings in poker of all-time. The tension between the two players has sparked interest and amusement among poker enthusiasts.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
