Boyd Gaming's Q3 2026 Results: Revenue Dips, But Diversified Model Pays Off

Boyd Gaming, the American gaming and hospitality company headquartered in Paradise, Nevada, reported its third quarter financial results for the period ended September 30, 2026. The company posted $990.5 million in total revenue, a slight decrease from the $1.0 billion reported in Q3 2025.

Gaming revenue for Q3 2026 was $655 million, nearly the same as the $657.4 million reported in Q3 2025. Food and beverage, as well as room revenues, were also on par year-over-year at $73.7 million and $43.1 million, respectively. Notably, online revenues increased by more than 23% year-over-year, reaching $33.2 million.

Boyd Gaming's President and CEO, Keith Smith, attributed the company's performance to its diversified business model and strong core customer base. Smith highlighted continued growth in the Midwest and South segments, increased play from southern Nevada residents, and strong gains in both online and managed operations. The company also repurchased $164 million in shares of its common stock during Q3 2026 and had $2.7 billion in total debt and $297.2 million in cash on hand as of September 30, 2026.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
