Bots Still Active in Lower-Stakes Tournaments on ACR
In the spring of 2024, ACR began banning bots during the flagship tournament The Venom. Czech trainer Vojtech Červinka, known as MTT Database Review on Twitter, shared information about bots on ACR. Červinka reported that bots are still active in tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $5 to $215.
Červinka mentioned that there were no bots in the last Mystery Venom tournament with an $8 million guarantee. He also noted that ACR has been banning players for bot use without providing evidence. Červinka believes that the high volume of players in tournaments with buy-ins from $5 to $215 makes it easier for bots to operate unnoticed.
Červinka noted that ACR's response to bot reports has slowed down significantly. He mentioned that bots are also present on other platforms like GG and PokerStars. Despite these challenges, Červinka continues to monitor and report bot activities to help maintain the integrity of online poker tournaments.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
