BetBlocker Adds Syrian Arabic to Support Service for Displaced Communities
BetBlocker has expanded its support to Syrian Arabic, citing the need to assist communities displaced by the years of conflict. The organization has been working to strengthen its support of communities and language groups that may often have poor access to support resources.
BetBlocker offers people who opt in for its solution an immediate ability to exclude themselves from over 339,000 gambling websites and 1,500 gambling apps. Founder and Trustee for BetBlocker, Duncan Garvie, has welcomed the opportunity to see the tool and support service expanded to yet another critical language whose speakers need support.
BetBlocker acknowledged that the years of conflict in Syria have resulted in the displacement of millions of people, with immigrants and minorities particularly susceptible to gambling-related harm.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
