Ben Sulsky Reveals His Biggest Poker Wins and Strategies in Exclusive Q&A

Ben Sulsky, a renowned poker player, recently sat down for an exclusive Q&A session where he delved into his poker career, strategies, and notable moments. Sulsky started making videos on LeggoPoker, finding it enjoyable and a way to connect with the community.

One of the most memorable moments Sulsky shared was a day he won $1 million playing against Isildur in 2014. He recalled that the session lasted around 10 hours and involved multiple games including NLHE, PLO, and 8-Game. Sulsky's standard deviation in heads-up PLO against Isildur reached 4.30, making for an intense and volatile session.

When asked about his biggest downswing in PLO, Sulsky mentioned that he doesn't remember the exact amount but estimates it around 100 buy-ins. He also recalled a piece of advice from Phil Ivey: "I play according to what my opponents allow me to do." This philosophy has significantly influenced Sulsky's approach to the game. Sulsky believes that players need to play more and work on their strategy to move up in PLO. He spends less time on theory compared to other players but works efficiently when he does, often noting down hands that frustrate him during sessions to review later.
