Aussie Millions Day 3: Drama and Big Moves at the Poker Table
The third day of the main event at the Aussie Millions poker tournament began with a hand-for-hand format, with 76 players starting the day. The tournament kicked off with some notable eliminations, including Van Marcus and Raymond Ellis, who were among the first to be knocked out.
Eugene Kachalov became the bubble boy, leaving the tournament in 74th place after a crucial all-in move. Julius Colman and Carter Phillips shared the 72nd place, each receiving $7,500. Albert Albergo celebrated his entry into the prize zone with a shout for bourbon, showcasing his excitement and relief.
Patrick Antonius had a mixed day, losing two all-ins but managing to become the chip leader with a strategic play against HAIPO Chu. Eric Lindgren and Tobias Reinke, seated next to Antonius, had little success and were eventually eliminated. Chris Moorman leads with 1,643,000 chips, followed by Mark Vos with 1,200,000. Sorel Mizzi holds the 6th position with 965,000 chips, while David Menz is in 17th place with 423,000 chips and support from a well-known foundation.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
