Poker Player Anton Wigg Accuses Rivals of Cheating in High-Stakes Tournament
Poker player Anton Wigg has accused his rivals, Nikita Bodiakovsky and Viktor Malinovskiy, of cheating during a high-stakes tournament. Wigg, a Swedish poker player, posted a video of a hand where Malinovskiy folded despite having a strong position. The incident occurred during a WSOPC Online tournament with a $10,000 buy-in and a $500,000 guarantee. Both Bodiakovsky and Malinovskiy were playing under the flag of Croatia.
In the hand in question, Bodiakovsky 3-bet with pocket Aces and Queens of clubs against Malinovskiy's raise with King and 9 of hearts from the cut-off position. Given the pot odds and stack sizes, Malinovskiy should have gone all-in. However, the German player folded for an unknown reason.
Ludovic Geilich, a member of the PartyPoker team, defended Bodiakovsky and Malinovskiy, suggesting that Malinovskiy wanted to save chips before the bubble. He also stated that it is very difficult to cheat in tournaments with commentary and live streams.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
