Freddy Deeb won the high roller tournament at the WPT Grand Prix in Paris. Sorel Mizzis, the winner of the 2010 Borgata Spring Poker Open and the 32nd SCOOP-high, lost to Freddy Deeb in the final. Deeb won €290,000 in the tournament.
Deeb's victory was not without drama. He had to win crucial hands, including AQ>AK and AK>AQ, to secure his win. Deeb's total career earnings have reached $7.2 million, with his largest win being the 2007 WSOP HORSE tournament with a $50,000 buy-in.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
