Andrej Chernokoz Wins SCOOP 2020 Midweek Freeze Tournament
Andrej Chernokoz, a Russian poker player known by his PokerStars nickname drupa-lucker, has won the SCOOP-105-M: NLHE 6-Max, Midweek Freeze tournament. His victory earned him $68,600, marking a significant achievement in his online poker career.
Chernokoz's win is part of an impressive online MTT career, with over $4.6 million in earnings, including $1.2 million on PokerStars. This victory is his third-largest online tournament win, following his second-place finish at WCOOP-76-H: Progressive KO in 2017 and his third-place finish at WCOOP-40-H: Half Price Super Tuesday in 2018.
The SCOOP-105-M: Midweek Freeze tournament had a guarantee of $400,000 and attracted 680 entries. In the heads-up, Chernokoz defeated the player wdwextrem from Slovenia. Another Russian player, Ivan Pavlov, known as Ch33s3z0r, also made it to the prize pool, finishing in 79th place and earning $1,203.
