Álex Hernández Advances to Day 4 of Main Event as Others Fall
Álex Hernández has advanced to Day 4 of the Main Event with a stack of 439,000 points. He was the only survivor from his school on Day 3, which saw a significant reduction in the player field from 3,617 to 1,524.
Several notable eliminations occurred on Day 3. Sergi Reixach was the first to go, opening with A6 and finding a call with AJ. Despite hitting the 6 on the flop 963, a river J sent him to the rail. Javi Fernández followed, going all-in with A8 and being caught by AQ, which sent him to the $5k 8-Max. Adrià Díaz, known as 'Favelita,' was eliminated after making a squeeze all-in with AQ and losing to JJ. Matías González was also eliminated and will not be joining Day 4.
Hernández, part of the Spin Project, will start Day 4 aiming to surpass the bubble and secure one of the 1,517 paid positions guaranteeing $15,000. Fans are encouraged to follow his progress on Poker-Red.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
