Adrian Mateos Wins WSOP 2021 Super High Roller for 3.2 Million
Adrian Mateos won the WSOP 2021 Event #82: 250 000$ Super High Roller tournament, securing his fourth WSOP bracelet and the largest payout of his career at 3 265 260$. The tournament had a total prize pool of 8 217 000$.
Mateos' victory came after a intense competition among 33 players. Ben Heit from the United Kingdom finished in second place, winning 2 018 140$. Seth Davis, a well-known American poker player, finished in fourth place, winning 930 790$.
Mateos expressed his excitement about the win, stating that he had never won such a large buy-in tournament before. He had previously played in tournaments with buy-ins of 100 000$ and even 1 000 000$, but this was his first time winning a high-stakes event.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
