Adrián Mateos Secures Spot in Monte Carlo Poker Final Table
Adrián Mateos, known as Amadi_17, has made a significant leap in the Monte Carlo poker tournament, securing the third-largest stack with 15 players remaining. He will return to the tables today with hopes of making it to the final.
Mateos started Day 4 with 37 blinds, slightly below average, but quickly doubled his chips against Philippe Narboni with queens against ace-king. This early success set the tone for his performance throughout the day.
Throughout the day, Mateos faced notable players including Jason Mercier, Ludovic Geillich, and Johnny Lodden, who was the chip leader. Despite the stiff competition, Mateos managed to maintain his position and secure his spot in the final table.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
