888poker LIVE Festival Kicks Off in Glasgow This Week

888poker is hosting a live poker festival in Glasgow from March 12 to 22, 2026. The festival will take place at the Merchant City Casino. The festival features over a dozen tournaments with buy-ins ranging from £150 to £400, with notable exceptions being the £888 Main Event and the £1,500 High Roller.

The festival will kick off with the £230 Crazy 8 Opening Event, featuring four starting flights and a £50,000 guarantee. The £888 Main Event will commence on March 19, with players battling for at least £250,000. 888poker has been running online qualifiers in the weeks leading up to the festival, giving players a chance to qualify at a significant discount, and even for free.

Some of those players will have won their seats playing online, as 888poker did a great job in the weeks leading up to the festival to give as many tournament fans a chance to qualify at a significant discount, and even for free. So, there is a good chance that we’ll see another poker fairytale written in Glasgow.
