Yuri Dzivilevskiy: Why I Won't Attend Triton Series Tournaments Anymore
Poker player Yuri Dzivilevskiy recently published a video explaining his decision to no longer attend Triton Series tournaments. The main reason, he stated, is the lack of sufficient bankroll to participate in these high-stakes events. Dzivilevskiy mentioned that he does not have enough bankroll to participate in Triton Series tournaments.
Dzivilevskiy prefers to play online tournaments with a higher expected value rather than traveling for live events. He calculated that playing online tournaments with a $1 million bankroll yields a higher expected value than traveling to Triton Series. Dzivilevskiy won a $1,000 tournament at ClubWPT Gold, finishing first without sharing the prize.
Dzivilevskiy also noted that many players at Triton Series have not won significant amounts in poker but spend extravagantly. He stated that to play tournaments with buy-ins of $25,000 and $50,000, a player would need a bankroll of at least $5 million.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
