WSOP Millionaire Maker Scandal: No Bracelet Awarded, Payouts Split

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has made an official announcement regarding the Millionaire Maker event. No bracelet will be awarded in the Millionaire Maker event due to a collusion scandal. The prize money from the Millionaire Maker event will be split evenly between Jesse Yaginuma and James Carroll.

Jesse Yaginuma will still receive the $1,000,000 bonus from ClubWPT Gold.

There is speculation that Jesse Yaginuma and James Carroll may be banned from the World Series of Poker.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
