WSOP Main Event: Top Four Players Head to November Finale

The final table of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event will be played in November.

Jonathan Duhamel is the chip leader with 65,975,000 chips. He became the chip leader after a bad beat against Matt Affleck, winning a pot of 42,000,000 chips, which propelled him to the top. Duhamel plans to play more aggressively in November, stating that his opponents will likely play more aggressively as well.

John Dolan is the second in chips with 46,250,000. Dolan dropped out of university to pursue poker but plans to return to university after the WSOP. He has had significant success in the WSOP, including a victory in a $1K Monday tournament on Full Tilt.

Joseph Cheong is third in chips with 23,525,000. Cheong holds two university degrees in psychology and mathematics but has dedicated his time to online poker. He has achieved notable successes in online poker, including winning the Triple Crown twice.

John Reisenner is fourth in chips with 19,050,000. Reisenner started playing poker illegally at the age of 16, with his mother making his first $50 deposit. He won the Sunday Million on his first attempt and has had significant success in the WSOP, including winning a WSOP Circuit event in Atlantic City.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
