WSOP Day 4: Spanish Players Face Brutal Elimination
Day 4 of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) was a challenging day for Spanish players, with several notable eliminations. Raúl Mestre, “odineh,” and Andoni Larrabe all faced tough losses that ended their runs in the competition.
Andoni Larrabe was one of the first to go. After the first break of the day, he found himself in a tough spot with A K against his opponent's A A. He then pushed with A 8, but his opponent called with K J. The flop brought two jacks, sealing Larrabe's fate and ending his run in 522nd place.
“odineh” also faced a brutal elimination. Edgard opened from the middle position with K K, and two other players called. The flop came 6 2 4, and “odineh” made a continuation bet. One of his opponents pushed all-in with T T, and “odineh” called. The turn brought a painful T, and the river sealed his elimination with another T, giving his opponent a four of a kind.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
