WPT Global Online Launches Celebrity Poker Heroes NFT Avatars
WPT Global Online has launched Celebrity Poker Heroes NFT avatars featuring Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey, Maria Konnikova, and Steve Aoki. The avatars are part of a collection of 9,999 unique 3D avatars minted on the Polygon blockchain.
The avatars are divided into three rarity groups: Humans, Cyborgs, and Gods, each with their own set of perks. Humans make up 60% of the total supply and come with perks such as $100,000 freeroll tournaments and access to a private poker Discord channel. Cyborgs, making up 30% of the supply, receive all Human perks plus access to exclusive celebrity poker tables. Gods, the rarest at 10% of the supply, get everything Cyborgs receive plus access to live World Poker Tour VIP events.
The #VegasBattleRoyale contest offers a chance to win a $15,000 package including a meet-and-greet with Steve Aoki and a night at Omnia Las Vegas. The contest runs for a week, and participants can earn points through various activities, including social media participation and minting new NFTs.
