Virginia Man Wins $100K from Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket
A man from Smithfield, Virginia, won $100,000 from a scratch-off lottery ticket. The winning ticket was a $5 Red 7s Doubler ticket from the Virginia Lottery.
The odds of winning the top prize from the scratch-off ticket are 1 in 1,183,200. The man purchased his winning ticket at Park & Shop on 1001 South Church Street in Smithfield.
The man said, "It must have been fate." when asked about his win. The Virginia Lottery launched the Red 7s Doubler ticket in September 2023.
