TON Poker Announces Free Tournament, Fast Poker Tables, and More

TON Poker has announced several new features and updates for its platform. Among the highlights is a free tournament with a prize pool of 10,000, scheduled for April 19, 2025. This tournament will have no direct buy-in; instead, players can qualify through daily satellites starting every half hour from March 17, 2025.

Each player will receive 300 gems, a new currency introduced by TON Poker. These gems can be used to attempt the satellites three times. Additionally, gems can be earned through rake contributions in cash games, with higher limits yielding more gems. The distribution is as follows:

• Low (0.02/0.05 – 0.1/0.25) — 2 gems
• Mid (0.25/0.5 – 1/2) — 10 gems
• High (2/5 – 5/10) — 46 gems

Gems can also be used to double the stack or make a rebuy during the final day of the tournament, with one rebuy costing 4,040 gems.

In addition to the tournament, TON Poker will introduce fast poker tables in April 2025. These tables will follow standard fast poker rules, with the rake remaining the same as at regular tables. Initially, NL5 tables will be available, with plans to add more limits based on player feedback. Furthermore, the weekly rake race 'Rainbow Weeks' will continue until April 11, 2025, with points awarded for games at both hold'em and omaha tables. Private tables for cash games are now in beta testing, allowing players to enjoy games with friends without the hassle of complex deposits.
