Tom Dwan on High-Stakes Poker, Full Tilt Scandal, and Future Plans
Poker pro Tom Dwan has been keeping busy with high-stakes games despite the ban on online poker. He has played in Macau, Vegas, and London, participating in some of the most expensive games in the world.
Dwan's frustration with the Full Tilt Poker situation is evident. He mentions that the ban on online poker in the US has been particularly hard on him and other players. "It's just disgusting," he says, recalling the stories of soldiers who can play online poker abroad but not at home.
Despite the challenges, Dwan plans to leave the US to resume his online poker career. He believes there is a chance that online poker will return to the US, but for now, he is focusing on his future plans and hopes to win all the money in the world online.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
