Tom Dwan Leads WSOP Tournament #11 with 21 Players Remaining

Tom Dwan, known as Durrrr, is the chip leader in the WSOP tournament #11 with 21 players remaining. His rise in the tournament began with a significant hand where he had a higher set of tens against his opponent's set of sevens. This hand allowed him to double his stack and continue his strong performance.

Dwan's strategic play and ability to make crucial decisions under pressure have been evident throughout the tournament. He played in two tournaments simultaneously, #11 and #14, during the second day, showcasing his multitasking skills and focus. Despite the challenges, Dwan managed to maintain his lead and increase his stack.

One of the notable hands Dwan played was against Alex Boloitin, where he doubled his stack with Ad 8d against Boloitin's As 9c. This hand highlighted Dwan's ability to read his opponents and make calculated moves. Another significant moment was his preflop battle against Amnon Philippi, which resulted in a substantial increase in his stack to 1,068,000 chips. Dwan's main competitors included Eric Ladny, Alex Boloitin, Jason Young, and Jacobo Fernandez, all of whom are skilled players in their own right.
