TheWakko's Poker Journey: From Freerolls to High Stakes and Beyond
TheWakko began his poker career with freerolls on Everest Poker, where he could win around 50 cents. He initially struggled to build his bankroll and often withdrew his winnings to spend on personal expenses.
After completing his web design studies, TheWakko focused on poker full-time, playing NL100 and NL200 games. He moved to Malta with other professional players, including Scarface.VLT, FMyLife, and Lennart.
TheWakko experienced significant financial losses due to poor bankroll management and excessive partying in Vegas. His trip to Brazil during the carnival season led to financial struggles and increased stress. Eventually, TheWakko returned to Malta, where he began to understand the importance of lifestyle choices on his poker performance.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
