Tatiana Ryzhkova and Flying Smile Triumph in WCOOP Tournaments
Tatiana Ryzhkova made a stunning impression in the WCOOP 14th tournament, a 6-max no-limit hold'em knockout event. She swept through the final table, winning $110,609.02. Her aggressive pre-flop playstyle allowed her to win many pots without showdowns, compensating for regular losses in equal all-ins. Anders Berg, a member of the PokerStars professional team, won his third WCOOP bracelet in the 16th tournament, a 6-max pot-limit Omaha event, earning $61,488. PinkPunk7 from Belarus was the best representative from the former Soviet Union, finishing 10th and earning $3,904.
The 17th tournament, a 2-7 single draw event, had its prize pool significantly underestimated, with only 390 participants out of a guaranteed $25,000. John 'PearlJammer' Turner finished second in the 17th tournament. Two Russian players, alexlabatyuk and mi777, reached the final table in the 18th tournament but did not win. E.Viltseva from Russia finished 5th in the 19th tournament, earning $58,705. Alexey Shlyakhtenko finished 4th in the 19th tournament. NeoNH5 from Russia finished 9th in the 20th tournament, earning $7,832. Gnostan and borvik from Russia finished 3rd and 4th respectively in the 21st tournament.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
