Steve Albini Wins Second WSOP Bracelet: A Poker Pro with a Musical Heart

Steve Albini, a name synonymous with the music industry, has added another feather to his cap by winning his second WSOP bracelet in a HORSE tournament with a $1,500 buy-in. Albini, known for his work as a sound engineer with legendary bands like Nirvana, Pixies, and collaborations with Jimmy Page, has proven that his talents extend beyond the music studio.

Albini's wife, Heather, is a prominent figure in the comedy industry, running The Second City improv theater in Chicago. This diverse background has led to a unique home game in Chicago, where music industry professionals, athletes, and actors come together to play poker. The game features a variety of poker games, including a custom game called swingo, which Albini helped create.

Albini is also a regular on the 2+2 poker forum, where he follows the stud and high-stakes discussions. His love for poker is evident in his dedication to the game, despite his busy schedule with his band Shellac and their world tours. Albini's home game is a testament to his passion for poker and his ability to bring together a diverse group of players.
