Sofia's journey into poker began at the age of 16 when her brother taught her how to play online. She quickly became hooked and started playing after school almost every day. Her first significant win was $4,000, which she achieved by playing NL50. However, in 2008, Sofia lost all her poker earnings due to room closure from fraud, but she managed to rebuild her bankroll and join the professional team of PKR in 2010 after impressing with her online poker skills.
Sofia's best finish in a live tournament was 24th out of 3,231 players at the World Series of Poker. She also finished 30th out of 797 players at the EPT San Remo, which was the best result among women and Swedish players. Sofia's boyfriend, Luca Moskitta, is also a professional poker player, and they have played together in tournaments. They live in two homes, one in Gothenburg and one in Catania, Sicily, and travel frequently.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
