Spanish Poker Pro 'rxakgirona' Shares His Journey to Supernova Elite
Sergi Reixach, known by his alias 'rxakgirona', is a 23-year-old from Girona, Spain, who left his engineering studies to pursue poker. Reixach achieved Supernova Elite status on PokerStars in December 2012.
Reixach initially struggled with multitabling but improved by playing fewer tables and focusing on his game. His motivation for achieving Supernova Elite status was driven by setting small daily VPP targets. Reixach started playing poker after his brother introduced him to online tournaments.
Reixach joined EducaPoker in June 2009 and credits the school and its community for his poker development. His best memory from his time at EducaPoker is qualifying for the UPO tournament through the Spartan Project. Reixach suggests that EducaPoker could improve by offering more classes on Sit & Go Heads-Up (HU) games. Reixach has had mixed results in tournaments, losing nearly $20,000 in 2012.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
