Pralad Fridman won the WPT Legends of Poker tournament in Los Angeles, securing more than a million dollars in prize money. The tournament took place at the Bicycle Casino in the Los Angeles suburbs. In the final heads-up against Kevin Schaffel, Fridman had a significant lead after winning a key coin flip against Todd Terry. Schaffel doubled up quickly but soon went all-in with Kh Jc against Ah Qs and lost to Fridman.
Fridman, once considered the best online poker player in the world, is known for his scandal with Jeff Lisandro during the WSOP 2006 and his rapping performance on ESPN.
In other news, French newcomer Adrien Allen won the APT tournament in Macau, taking home $391,603. Allen qualified for the tournament through a $5 lottery tournament on PKR and overcame resistance from professionals like Jason Tran.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
