PokerStars Considers Changing Start Times for Regular Tournaments

PokerStars is considering moving the start times of regular MTT tournaments two hours earlier. This change is based on the success of the SCOOP tournaments, which had their start times moved two hours earlier for player convenience.

The new schedule would start Sunday Kickoff at 06:00 ET (14:00 MSK), Sunday Warm-Up at 11:00 ET (19:00 MSK), Sunday Storm at 13:30 ET (21:30 MSK), Sunday Million at 14:30 ET (22:30 MSK), Sunday 500 at 15:30 ET (23:30 MSK), and Sunday 2nd Chance at 16:30 ET (00:30 MSK).

Additionally, the start times for Monday -- $530 Monday Omaha and Tuesday -- $1,050 Super Tuesday would be moved to 17:00 ET (01:00 MSK).

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
