PokerStars Players Plan Strike Against VIP Program Changes
PokerStars player Dani «Ansky» Sterm, known as supernova9 on PokerStars, is one of the first online high rollers of the poker boom era. Ansky lost around $400,000 playing online pot-limit Omaha in 2015.
Ansky is involved in organizing a strike against PokerStars' changes to their VIP program, starting December 1, 2015. The strike will last 72 hours, during which participants will not play on PokerStars and will withdraw part of their funds.
Ansky believes the changes to the VIP program will negatively impact both players and PokerStars. If the situation does not improve, protests will escalate, with a more serious protest planned to start on January 1, 2016.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
