PokerStars Launches 18 Daily Leaderboards for Cash Games
PokerStars has launched an exciting new promotion with 18 daily leaderboards dedicated to cash games. Each day, players can compete for a share of $27,500. The leaderboards are available for both Hold'em and Omaha games across all limits, from $0.01/$0.02 to $2.50/$5.
The action runs until 13 June and is only available to players using the .com client; PokerStars Sochi players are excluded. To participate, players must opt-in through the Challenges section in the client. Points are awarded based on the cards dealt in the first 300 hands after opting in, with higher-value cards and specific combinations earning more points.
In related news, Partypoker is exiting the Baltic region and suspending partypoker.sochi due to regulatory changes. Players from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia will no longer be able to play poker, casino games, or bet on sports starting from the second week of June. Optibet, part of the iPoker network, is recommended as an alternative for affected players.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
