PokerStars Approves Controversial Decision-Making Software
A program developed by skier_5 has sparked debate among poker players and PokerStars. The software, which helps players make decisions in HU SNG, has been approved by PokerStars' security service.
The program, developed by skier_5, helps players make decisions in HU SNG by providing preflop tables. PokerStars' security service investigated the program and concluded that no rules were violated. The program does not provide automatic decisions and requires user interaction.
Some players argue that the program is beneficial because it helps them make complex decisions. Others argue that the program allows players to make automatic decisions, which is against the spirit of the game. The debate continues as PokerStars stands by its decision to allow the program.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
