PokerStars Launches All Stars: A No-Rake Cash Game Tournament
PokerStars has announced an exciting new initiative called All Stars, a cash game tournament designed to determine the best cash game players in the world. The tournament will feature two no-limit Texas Hold'em limits: NL200 (Masters) and NL2000 (All Stars).
The tournament will run for one month, with the exact dates planned for April-May. The prize pool for the tournament is $100,000. Players will be invited based on their cash game profits over the past 12 months. For the Masters category, players must have profited more than $10,000 on limits from NL100 to NL400. For the All Stars category, players must have profited more than $25,000 on limits from NL500 and above.
PokerStars plans to publish highlights from the games, pending player permission. The future of All Stars will depend on the activity and feedback from participants. If the first season is successful, PokerStars is prepared to organize a second season with new formats and an expanded participant list.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
