Poker Pros Toni Danst and Phil Galfond Share Unusual Home Findings
Poker professionals Toni Danst and Phil Galfond recently shared some unusual findings from their homes. During a visit to Toni Danst's office, journalist Kristi Arnet discovered a pair of nunchaku, which Danst couldn't explain. Meanwhile, Phil Galfond found a giant cockroach at his home, which he compared in size to an iPhone.
These incidents occurred during the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) series. Toni Danst, known as 'Bond18', mentioned that he plans to spend a lot of time playing online poker during WCOOP. He also shared some tips for successful online poker, including having a large monitor with high resolution, a powerful graphics card, and comfortable surroundings.
Phil Galfond, on the other hand, expressed disinterest in the WCOOP tournaments and instead played heads-up with Daniel 'jungleman12' Kates. Unfortunately, Galfond lost 8 buy-ins during the session, as he tweeted about constantly bluffing into Kates' full houses, which didn't work out.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
