Poker Player's Gambit: Selling Stakes and Seeking Redemption

The author found himself in a difficult situation, having sold 50% stakes in several EPT tournaments, including EPT London, EPT Warsaw, EPT Vilamoura, and EPT Prague. He owed money to TowerGaming and was unable to participate in the tournaments he had sold stakes in.

Facing the choice between returning the money to his investors and finding a job or improvising, the author decided to participate in a rake race on the Entraction network to secure a tournament package. This decision was driven by the need to avoid returning the money and the realization that continuing to play at TowerGaming was futile due to unpaid rakeback.

The author had a fear of flying and was fascinated by aviation disasters, drawing parallels between the chain of small errors leading to a catastrophe and his own situation. He sold stakes in all EMPO tournaments of the first season, despite being bankrupt, and received a message from David promising to send money for the buy-in for EPT Vilamoura. The author decided to accept the money from David and promote TowerGaming in exchange, hoping to resolve his financial issues.
