PokerMatch Ends Collaboration with Ambassador Aleksey Durnev
Ukrainian poker room PokerMatch has announced the end of their collaboration with TV host Aleksey Durnev. The partnership, which began in 2018, saw Durnev become the first media ambassador for the young poker room. Durnev is known for his TV show 'Durnev +1' and YouTube shows 'Durnev Portit Vse' and 'Durnev Smotrit Storis'.
PokerMatch made the announcement on April 1st, initially leading some to believe it was an April Fool's joke. However, it was confirmed that the collaboration had indeed ended. PokerMatch thanked Durnev for two years of excitement and poker, noting that his presence brought energy to live tournaments and that many players wanted to take photos with him.
As part of their collaboration, PokerMatch hosted weekly freerolls with Durnev, with a prize pool of 5,000₴, every Wednesday. Over two years, more than 400,000₴ was distributed in these freerolls, with players able to participate without paying an entry fee.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
