Patrick Leonard's Honesty Costs Him SCOOP Titles
Patrick Leonard's honesty has cost him the chance of winning the SCOOP Player of the Year title after he pointed out that he had some points added in error from a 13th place finish in a $1,050 event. Patrick Leonard was in contention for both the high stakes and overall Player of the Year titles. PokerStars awarded Patrick Leonard the $45,000 he would have won if everything stayed as it finished.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
