North Carolina Woman Wins $1 Million from $10 Scratch-Off Ticket
A woman from Gastonia, North Carolina, won $1 million from a $10 Jumbo Bucks scratch-off ticket. The odds of winning the top prize from the Jumbo Bucks ticket are 1 in 1,398,273.75. The woman purchased her winning ticket at Bre-ina’s Food Mart located on Chapel Grove Road in Gastonia.
The $1 million prize was the last top prize from the Jumbo Bucks scratch-off game. The winner chose to receive a one-time lump cash sum of $600,000 instead of annuity payments. After taxes, the winner's bank account increased by $432,063.
