MMAsherdog Reflects on 2018 Wins and 2019 Poker Goals
MMAsherdog, a prominent high-stakes poker player, had a stellar 2018, winning $1.3 million in online poker. He shared his achievements and future goals in a blog post on 2+2. One of his main goals for 2019 is to play 40,000 hands of poker each month, aiming to improve his skills and consistency.
MMAsherdog started his poker career on PKR and Bodog, but he took a 7-month break in 2013 to improve his skills. He lost approximately $70,000 due to playing fewer big blinds in 2018. Despite this, he remains optimistic about his future in poker.
In late 2014, MMAsherdog started his first blog on 2+2 with the goal of winning $250,000. He also considered buying poker software to compete with script users, highlighting the challenges faced by high-stakes players. MMAsherdog plans to stream on Twitch 1-2 times a week, engaging with his audience and sharing his poker journey.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
