Mizrachi Brothers Make History as First Siblings to Win WPT Titles
In a historic moment for poker, Robert Mizrachi secured the $5,000 buy-in World Poker Tour Venetian Main Event, making him and his brother Michael the first siblings to win WPT titles. Robert's victory came after topping a field of 1,178 players, adding $894,100 to his live tournament record.
This achievement is even more remarkable when considering Michael Mizrachi's own impressive record. Michael has a live tournament record of $17,461,246, which includes wins such as the 2005 WPT L.A. Poker Classic and the 2006 WPT Borgata Poker Open.
With both brothers having such significant wins under their belts, the combined total of their earnings is already substantial. As they continue their careers, the Mizrachi brothers are poised to add even more to their impressive records.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
