Minnesota Forge: A New Era for Women's Volleyball
Minnesota's Major League Volleyball (MLV) team has officially rebranded as Minnesota Forge, marking a new chapter in women's professional sports. The updated team name and visual identity highlight the franchise's strength, ambition, and dedication to shaping the future of women’s professional volleyball.
The term 'Forge' signifies the process of creating immense strength through energy, pressure, and purpose. The new logo is inspired by Minnesota's landscape, natural contrasts, and seasons, delivering a sports identity focused on the state and representing the team’s boldness when competing.
Michelle Haines, president of Minnesota Forge, expressed excitement about the milestone, stating that the name reflects resilience, craftsmanship, and the strength that comes from community. Craig Leipold, the team’s majority owner and owner of the Minnesota Wild, emphasized that strong professional teams are built around dedication, commitment, belief, and shared purpose. The team is set to start playing in January 2027, hosting home matches at Grand Casino Arena.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
