Michael Postle Sues Accusers for $330 Million in Damages
Michael Postle, a poker player recently acquitted of cheating allegations, is now taking legal action against those who accused him. Postle is suing multiple individuals and entities, including Veronica Brill, Daniel Negreanu, Doug Polk, Jonathan Little, Phil Galfond, Joe Ingram, and ESPN, for defamation. The total amount of compensation Postle is seeking is $330 million.
Postle's lawsuit comes after a court ruling in his favor, which stated that California courts do not handle gambling disputes and that the judge did not fully understand the complexity of the case. Despite his acquittal, Postle is now seeking damages for what he claims is moral harm caused by the accusations.
The defendants in Postle's lawsuit include some of the most prominent figures in the poker community, as well as the popular sports network ESPN. The network was included in the lawsuit due to a statement made about Postle's case, which Postle's legal team deemed defamatory.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
