Legionnaires' Disease Cases Linked to Wynn Las Vegas
The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) is investigating two cases of Legionnaires’ disease at Wynn Las Vegas. Both cases involved guests at the hotel, with one person contracting the disease in September and another in February. The Wynn has reportedly begun remediation measures on the casino’s water system.
The Wynn has notified former guests that they could have possibly been exposed to the disease. Guests who stayed at the hotel after Sept. 1 are being offered a free confidential illness survey as part of the property’s efforts to remedy the situation.
In 2017, the Rio faced a similar issue, with two guests contracting Legionnaire’s disease. The SNHD also investigated the cases and the property underwent remediation.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
