Kane Kalas Accuses Poker Pro Ian O'Hara of Six-Figure Scam
Kane Kalas, a well-known poker player and singer/actor, has accused Ian O'Hara of scamming him and Jonathan Jaffe out of a combined mid-six-figure sum. Kalas revealed that he staked O’Hara in 2020, only to find out later that O’Hara was also being staked by Jonathan Jaffe. Kalas and Jaffe discovered that O’Hara was misreporting results and fabricating data on the stake.
O’Hara admitted to the scam and agreed to repay the debt and disclose all transactional business within poker. Kalas recently outed O’Hara for selling action for the Poker Masters tournament series without disclosing it, and for not actually playing in the events.
Kalas warned others about doing business with O'Hara, citing a pattern of untruthful and manipulative behavior.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
