Johan “YoH ViraL” Guilbert made a significant mark in the poker world by winning the SHRB Europe Event #2, a $25k NLHE tournament, earning a career-best $506,250. The event attracted 81 entries, resulting in a prize pool of just over $2 million.
Stephen Chidwick, who had a strong start, exited in 10th place after facing an unlucky flop. Ali Imsirovic, another notable player, was eliminated due to a bad beat. David Stamm and Christoph Vogelsang finished fourth and fifth, respectively, earning $162,000 and $202,500.
In the final stages, Seth Davies' pocket kings lost out to a nasty flop, leaving Guilbert and Selahaddin Bedir heads up for the title. The Frenchman and the Turkish player engaged in an entertaining heads-up battle, but eventually, Guilbert secured the victory with a crucial hand. Selahaddin Bedir finished second, earning $364,500.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
