Joemeiry Brito won the PokerStars Estrellas Series Madrid tournament. The tournament reduced from 70 players to 31 who would share the prizes. José Luis Lanoix eliminated several players while increasing his lead. José Patiño and Paco Torres both found a double-up just at the money bubble. Pablo Lario was eliminated from the tournament after his last points were used to put in the big blind. The final six players agreed to a deal, leaving Joemeiry Brito, José Fernández, and Julio Gisbert to compete for the trophy.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
