Jeff Madsen Wins Fifth WSOP Bracelet in 2026 Dealer's Choice Event

Jeff Madsen, a seasoned poker player based in Las Vegas, won his fifth WSOP bracelet in the 2026 $1,500 Dealer's Choice event. Madsen defeated a field of 656 entries to claim the victory, earning $161,057 and 840 Card Player Player of the Year points. This win marks Madsen's fifth career bracelet, making him the 47th player in WSOP history to achieve this milestone.

Madsen's previous bracelet wins include the 2013 WSOP $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event and the 2015 eight-or-better version of the same tournament. His victory in the 2026 event came on the 20th anniversary of his first WSOP bracelet win, adding to the significance of the achievement. Madsen began the final day of the event in eighth chip position but managed to climb the leaderboard and secure the win.

In the final stages of the tournament, Madsen eliminated key players such as Daniel Geyser in a round of Omaha eight-or-better. He took a 3.5:1 chip lead into heads-up play with Philip Wess and ultimately won the final hand in a round of pot-limit double draw high. Madsen's strategic play and experience were crucial in securing his fifth bracelet, cementing his status as a top poker player.
