Ike Haxton Wins PCA Super High Roller, Secures $1M+ Payout
Ike Haxton has made a stunning start to the year by winning the $100k buy-in Super High Roller event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA). Haxton took home $1,082,230 after a three-way ICM deal. The event took place at the Baha Mar resort in Nassau, Bahamas.
The PCA featured a stacked field of 49 entries, including notable players like Justin Bonomo, Bryn Kenney, Fedor Holz, and Patrik Antonius. The tournament was intense, with players battling for seven paid spots. Ben Heath was eliminated on the money bubble by Adrian Mateos. Tim Adams finished in 7th place for a $249,600 payday.
Haxton's victory came after a thrilling final table where he, Seth Davies, and Adrian Mateos agreed to an ICM chop and then played turbo-style to decide the champion. Haxton's strategic play and decision to chop the deal secured him a significant payout and a place close to Steve O’Dwyer’s 14th spot in the all-time moneywinners list.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
